Vegan Donuts, Need I say more?
I have always been griping about how hard it is to get vegan donuts. Donuts are known for their puffyness, their sweet, creamy filling and glaze. For some reason, these things are really hard to replicate with common egg replacers and donut ingredients. For my birthday, I received some vegan donuts from a good friend. Were they anything like the real thing? Yes, in fact they were better. They were friggin vegan, man. Honestly, I couldn’t tell a difference. Larsen Bakery will send you about a dozen or so donuts complete with ample chocolate and vanilla frosting and freezer packs for the shipping for about $20. I call that a good deal considering how great they taste and the trouble they have to go through getting to my front door. I’ve noticed a few friends have also given their approval to Larsen Bakery’s goods, available for order on VeganEssentials.com. You can also order regular toroid donuts (I’m so glad I finally got to use that word) or bavarian cream and jelly-filled donuts. No bone char sugar here.
